What Parents Need To Know About That 90s Show
Parents should be aware that That ’90s Show is a spinoff of That ’70s Show and that many of the original cast members return to the show as guests or part of the main cast.
However, the level of mature content is similar to the old: youths engage in constant peer-mocking, use alcohol and marijuana, flirt, kiss, and engage in (off-screen) s*x. Like the original, there are many touching moments of love and support shared by friends and family members.
Along with questionable words like “dillweed” and “s*cks,” language also includes “a*s,” “bitch,” and “hell.”

Best Netflix Ranked Shows Like “The 90s Show”
Friends (1994), American Sitcom
The long-running, Emmy-winning sitcom FRIENDS, which first premiered in 1994, follows six Manhattan-dwelling friends as they journey from their 20s to their 30s. The group includes sarcastic quipster Chandler (Matthew Perry), neurotic chef Monica (Courteney Cox), her three times-divorced brother Ross (David Schwimmer), singer/massage therapist Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), wannabe actor Joey (Matt LeBlanc), and former suburban princess Rachel (Jennifer Aniston).
From typical comedy stuff (funny misunderstandings, dating nightmares, etc.) to more serious tales involving divorce, friend hook-ups, surprise pregnancies, and more, storylines range widely. Many of the episodes changed in tone as the series went on, becoming less situational and more dramatic to focus on the viewers’ decade-long connection to the characters.

The Big Bang Theory (2007) American Sitcom
The Big Bang Theory is a sitcom that focuses on a group of Caltech scientists who have the intellectual capacity to understand the mysteries of the cosmos but lack the interpersonal abilities to interact with the majority of humans on Earth.
In their free time, roommates Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) like playing Klingon board games and watching Stephen Hawking lectures with other researchers Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg). Everything starts to change, though, when they meet Penny (Kaley Cuoco), the neighbouring beautiful blonde waitress/aspiring screenwriter. She doesn’t always seem to be very smart, and she doesn’t always seem to be interested in quantum physics.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air American Will Smith Sitcom
The feel-good comedy THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR follows a streetwise adolescent from Philadelphia who moves in with his wealthy relatives in Bel-Air and upsets their peaceful lifestyle.
Will Smith plays Will, an outspoken inner-city Philadelphia teen whose mother sends him to live with his Aunt Vivian and Uncle Philip Banks and their three spoiled children: Carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro), Hilary (Karyn Parsons), and Ashley. At the time, Will Smith was half of DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince rather than a blockbuster action hero (Tatyana Ali).
