This is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language film. It’s a sequel of ‘karthikeya’ but if you didn’t watch the first part then don’t you worry, you can enjoy karthikeya 2 because it itself is a full story.
Story; Best Movie For Janmashtami weekend (2022)
karthikeya kumaraswamy (Nikhil Siddharth) is a doctor with deep knowledge in science. He believes in facts rather than God or religious things. One more thing, he can control snakes very easily.
Mayer’s son is admitted into the hospital and Mayer starts a homa (havan) inside OT. Karthikeya slapped him and in result, he is suspended for 2 weeks.
Karthikeya went to Dwarka (the city of Krishna) along with his mother. He gets involved in the search of lord krishna’s ankle. Karthikeya gets a series of evidences which lead him to different places.
Some people are also behind that ankle with evil intentions. Why are people behind this ankle? Why is that ankle so important to them? Climax has all the answers.
Film has a unique way to explain the technology of the past like rishi muni had an ocean of knowledge and they already had invented the ‘telescope’ years ago.
Anupam Kher’s role is short but strong. He is a big fan of Krishna and explained to Karthikeya how Krishna was brilliant. He explains that Krishna was an excellent architect, psychologist, musician and had a deep knowledge of medicine. Karthikeya admits that science and religious things have some connections together.
The story line is strong but all the evidence is way more easy to get and without any twist which somehow downs the excitement section of the movie. Movie is quite far from the track in the middle part and lengthy as well.

Performance
Nikil is okay with his acting and Anupama Parmeshwaran also played her character decently. The comedy parts are also quite funny because of Srinivas Reddy and Viva Harsha.
Anupam Kher played his role with determination. Aditya Menon is decent in his negative role in the movie.
Movie VFX
VFX and graphics work is done well. The background music actually supported all the situations.

Raksha Bandhan is a family movie and relatable to our lives. Movie is full of emotions.
