House of the dragon series review
House of the dragon series review – everyone waiting for this series to begin but finally the house of the dragon will premiere on 21 August 2022. It’s an HBO series and yes, related to Game of Thrones.
Trailer is already released but if you are facing difficulties in getting things, then don’t worry we explained everything for your better understanding, so check out below and also the quick recap of game of thrones season 1 because it may be helpful as well.
House of the Dragon Series Review: ‘Story explained’
Story will tell us about how the Targaryens first ruled westeros means all the things happened years before Game of thrones.
The first Targaryens king —
Aegon Targaryen came in westeros and took place in the dragon stone with his two sisters. He united all saven kingdoms into one and became the king of westeros later named as ‘ lord of saven kingdoms ‘.
100 years later back to westeros
Everything was going smoothly until Targaryens started a fight against each other.

The king’s landing, Dragons Stone and Driftmark
In trailer we see some characters-
The king’s landing —
Prince Daemon Targaryen – who has a strong desire to get Iron Throne but as a second child he faced difficulties. He wasn’t too white as John Snow but not too black as Joffrey.
King Viserys – As a first child, he was chosen for the crown. He is good hearted and wants to rule without facing any difficulties and efforts.
Rhaenyra Targaryen – Daughter of king Viserys and apparently the heir of Iron Throne but as a woman she can’t be the one.
One interesting thing: whoever is the king of Iron throne he/she has to be the prince/princess or lord of dragons stone first.
Driftmark —
Coryls velaryon is the lord of Driftmark. He has a wife named Rhaenys Targaryen. Rhaenys Targaryen who was also one of the heirs of Iron throne in some way but couldn’t make it because of the gender discrimination
Let’s see where will all they take us? Remember all the Targaryens have their own dragons so be ready for the marvelous experience once more.
Game of Thrones ‘Season one explained’
This is a story of saven big kingdoms of westeros, all these kingdoms fight each other for the single thing called iron throne. Iron throne on which Targaryen use to rule.
The Targaryen —
Targaryen used to rule on Westeros with the power of dragons. But gradually all the dragons start to extinct and so as Targaryen strength. In first season we see the last ruler of Targaryen named the mad king and his son named Rhaegar Targaryen.
The king’s landing –The south side of westeros called king’s landing where Eddard Stark use to rule and he fixed his sister’s marriage named Lyanna stark with Robert Baratheon.
Everything started by these two —
So basically everything starts when Rhaegar Targaryen kidnapped Lyanna stark and this triggers Lyanna stark ‘s fiancé Robert to attack Targaryens.
In all this mess both Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark died and mad king as well.
Mad king before his death successfully sent his other children to safe place with his wife who used to be little named Daenerys Targaryen and Viserys Targaryen.
Years later, back to king’s landing —
Here, we see Eddard Stark children named Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, Robb Stark, Bran Stark, Theon greyjoy, Rikson stark and his non official son Jon Snow. Sansa Stark marriage is fixed with Robert Baratheon’s son Joffrey the next heir of westreos and the Iron throne.
The North ‘ Wall of North’ —
Wall was made up of ice due to winters like environment all the time. This Wall protects Westeros from danger. Danger means white walkers somewhat like Zombies.
The War begins —
Things take tragic mode, Robert Baratheon was killed ! how? I’m not going to give spoilers. Apparently his son Joffrey is now the king but is it possible? When others were waiting for this moment to rule the westeros.
The Targaryens are back —
Well in the mid of the season we see mad king’s children Daenerys Targaryen and Viserys Targaryen who were hidden till now appeared. Daenerys Targaryen who wasn’t so happy with her life because she lost his unborn baby. At last she tried to set herself on fire.
Something unusual happened Daenerys Targaryen stays alive and comes out of fire with two baby dragons. Where will this thing take us in season 2?
